R. Kris Coleman is the Founder and CEO of Red5, a strategic intelligence and security consulting firm established in 2004 that provides proactive security, intelligence, privacy, and risk advisory services to corporate enterprises and family offices worldwide. Under his leadership, Red5 has grown into a family of companies that combines technology, proven methodologies, and human expertise to help leaders make informed decisions about risk.

Before founding Red5, Kris spent more than 14 years in public service. He served as an Intelligence Officer and Protective Operations & Counter Assault Team Leader with the CIA, and as a Special Agent and SWAT Operator with the FBI.

In addition to his work at Red5, Kris serves as Executive Director of Fox Bravo Overland, a nonprofit organization supporting first responders, veterans, and service members. He is also the author of The Complexity of the Gray and Raise Your Resiliency, books that draw on his experience in intelligence, security, and resilience. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and an active member of several professional security and intelligence organizations.
